Football History
The football, is a team sport played between two sets of eleven players each set and some referees that deal that the rules are completely fulfilled. It is considered the most popular sport in the world, beacouse 270 millions of people practise this sport.
The field is rectangular of natural or artificial grass, with a goal or arch at each side of the field. It's played trought a ball thatyou have to move trought the field any part of the body without using the arms and the hands, and mostly with your feet. The objective is introduce it in the contrary goal or arch, that is called score a goal. The team that achieve to score more goals after the match, with a duration of 90 minutes, is the winner of the match.
The modern sport was reinvented in England after the formation of te Football Association whose rules of 1863 are the base of the actual sport. The governing body of the football is the Fédération Internationale de Football Association moreknown as FIFA. The most prestigious international football competition is the Football World Cup organized each 4 years by that body. This event is the most famous event and the one that counts with more number of viewers of the world, doubling de audience of the Olimpic Games.
